Development Committee
Create and maintain relationships with donors, write grants, and overall lead the effort of obtaining financial support for AMMSA initiatives. Network with and facilitate strategic partnerships with other organizations at the intersection of Islam, medicine, and service.
Conference Committee
Plan and execute the annual conference by assisting with logistics, marketing, speaker coordination, and attendee engagement. Work closely with all committees to ensure a cohesive conference experience for all attendees.
Marketing Committee
Develop marketing initiatives and manage AMMSA’s website & Instagram. Design & lead conference merchandise distribution. Lead the AMMSA Creative Works Initiative. Develop flyers and programs for national events. Work with influencers to expand AMMSA’s reach.
Mentorship Committee
Connect Muslim medical students with each other and resident/attending physicians through online programs and research opportunities. Lead career development events. Manage and run conference poster and podium presentations. Lead the AMMSA abstract publication initiative.
Outreach Committee
Manage relationships with existing AMMSA chapters, onboard new AMMSA chapters, and recruit new members. Work with regional leaders to organize in-person events and initiatives.
Programming Committee
Develop and maintain periodic national programs including Doc Talks, physician panels, conference speakers, and more. Select and coordinate with conference speakers.
