Planning an Event?
What can my event be about?
Anything really! Our only requirement is that all AMMSA events fulfill AT LEAST two of the following three focus areas:
Spiritual growth
Professional development
Community bonding
How far in advance should I plan my event?
The earlier the better. For Ramadan events, you must submit your proposal AT LEAST two weeks in advance of your planned event date. For non-Ramadan events, you must submit your event form AT LEAST three weeks in advance of your planned event date.
Where do I send my request?
All funding request proposals must include a concise description of the proposed event or initiative, its objectives and anticipated impact, and the estimated number of participants.
Proposals should clearly demonstrate alignment with AMMSA’s mission and values and provide a detailed budget outlining the total cost, the amount requested, and any additional sources of funding or anticipated sponsorships. A proposed timeline and designated point of contact should also be included to facilitate efficient review and communication.
Following approval and disbursement of funds, all expenditures must be documented with itemized receipts, and photos from the event must be submitted as part of post-event reporting. Submission of receipts and event photos is required to receive the final balance or reimbursement for approved funds.
